Description
of Dalavich Forest Cabin site
Add
Cabin sits in woodland adjacent to stunning Loch Awe in beautiful
Argyllshire.
The site was formerly owned by the Forestry Commission and Add Cabin
is one of 43 privately owned timber-built cabins hiding amongst the beautiful
scenery of Loch Awe. The Loch shore is 2 minutes walk from your cabin.
The
Cabins are well spaced out in open woodland. Add Cabin includes approximately ½ acre ground around the cabin. There’s a
pretty little burn that babbles through the grounds of Add Cabin where
your kids can play and even catch a trout! There’s plenty of
open space around the cabin site, so the kids and pets can have all
the space
they need!
The site benefits from the services available in Dalavich village
which includes a licensed social club where families are welcome,
a laundry,
post office, shop and café restaurant. The restaurant in
the club house also caters for take-away meals. Bicycles can be
hired locally
as can boats and outboard motors whether for fishing or simply
exploring many of the secluded bays and beaches around Loch Awe.
Dalavich village itself has approximately 100 residents. The forest
cabins attract visitors from all over the world and villagers always
have a warm friendly welcome for the holidaymakers.
